I have to admit, I've always had a thing for luggage since I was a child. Initially I think it was because it made we think about going on holiday but now I think of them kinda the same way as handbags. For Hold luggage I've had a large Antler Revelation Nexus with four wheels. Its really light and so far its been very durable. For cabin baggage my dream case is a Louis Vuitton Pegase. I have imagined myself walking out of the airport with one wheeling behind me for many years. Honestly though I just can't justify the cost.
I would be petrified that somebody would run into me and mark it. I love that it says that there is a cover to put over it for travel though - very clever idea!
I also received an interesting email from Anya Hindmarch recently announcing their new Bespoke Walton. I love the idea of it having your own initials on it and the vintage style. It is used like a holdall but inside looks like a suitcase.
My problem is, that beige canvas luggage and me is a disaster waiting to happen.
Now its no surprise to people that know me that DVF would be on my luggage list too. I love everything Diane designs and influences. I saw last year some DVF Studio Luggage in Tkmaxx in bright pink and blue. But as per usual I hummed and hayed until there was none left and then decided I really wanted one.
Luckily this year my mum spotted them in TKmaxx in black with DVF all over it, much more practical and every season worthy colour. There was no way that I was going to miss out on it this time, not at £39.99 instead of the recommended retail of $300.00. Now it may not be as fancy as Louis Vuitton or Anya Hindmarch but it is perfect for me and I can't wait to take it on holiday.
